- Web site design and construction, including modules in CSS, Content management Systems and Search Engine Optimisation
- Standard industry software especially the Adobe suite (Mac OS based)
- Design industry overview and best practice methods for communications managers, including typical procedures, print management and options, website management, traps and dangers, how to evaluate value for money and so on.
- Web and print design theory and practice for science communicators (with over 15 years experience lecturing at the Centre for the Public Awareness of Science, ANU).
- In collaboration with the University of Canberra, we run a bridging course for graduate graphic design students to prepare them for real world industry practice.
